THE YARN ADVENT

The Yarn Advent is now available for pre-order, here are all the practical details.

This years calendar is a Sweet Shop theme. A celebration of colourful, nostalgic treats, think bags of penny sweets, pick and mix, pear drops, humbugs, lemon sherbets and all things teeth achingly sugary.

So what exactly will you get?

As with previous years the yarn will arrive to you housed in a custom made advent calendar, with 24 separate compartments, hidden behind 24 perforated doors. Behind each of those doors you’ll find a hand dyed skein of yarn created especially for this years sweet shop theme.

There will be 24 individual colourways, there will be no reveals of these colours before December, because I want to create an experience of anticipation and surprise each morning as your yarn collection grows throughout the month.

You can choose between…

Sock and DK weight yarn both weights are my standard superwash merino yarn (75% superwash merino 25% nylon)

and

10g or 20g skeins 

Sock weight skeins are 10g/42m, 20g/85m

DK weight skeins are 10g/22m 20g/45m

How much will it cost?

The 10g calendars will be £90 and 20g calendars will be £140, plus shipping.

There will be the option to pay in full when the calendar goes on sale or over 3 payments of £31 (10g) and £47 (20g). The shipping costs will be added on and split across the 3 payments.

The first of the payments will come out when your first checkout and the next two will automatically come out of your account on the 1st of October and 1st of November.

I have limited number this year, but there are still a good number available so I don’t imagine an immediate sell out (though of course that would be nice!).

When will it arrive?

I will start shipping the first week of November and I always prioritise international orders first to give them a good chance of arriving safely before December 1st. All UK calendars should comfortably arrive mid November. But you’ll receive shipping details with tracking as soon as they are on their way.
