2024 Oblique Shawl Mystery Crochet Along Kit

PRE - ORDER - Vicki Brown Design's autumn mystery crochet - a - long yarn and pattern.

I have designed a crochet shawl pattern perfect for mystery crochet - a - long, so I thought what a fun way to crochet along together.

The pattern will use 2 x 50g skeins of 4ply yarn in a semi solid and 1 x 100g skein of varigated or speckly 4 ply yarn. 

Included in this kit are 2 skeins of Coop Knits Socks Yeah (50g/212m, 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon) and an acompanying mystery hand dyed skein of yarn from me (100g/425m 75% superwash merino 25% nylon).  I've shared the colour ways of the Coop Knits used in each kit so you'll get an idea of the mystery hand dyed colours, as they will draw on some of the beautiful shades of the solids.

The MCAL begins August 29th (which allows plenty of time for yarn to shipped and to prepare to begin. A clue will be released each Thursday over the following 5 weeks, so you'll have a beautiful shawl all made up ready for autumn.

Each of the four colour options include 2 x semi solid, and a subtle speckly yarn.

The kits show the two coop knits used - the 100g hand dyed skein will remain a mystery until it arrives.

Some notes on the pattern ...

"The Oblique Shawl is an asymetric shawl measuring around 195cm x 65cm, this shawl will be a fun crochet project, using a variety of stitches and techniques."

Kits will ship by July 31st so should arrive in plenty of time for the end of August when the MCAL begins, however, if you're outside the UK please note that we cannot guarantee that the yarn will arrive by August 29th.
