PRE - ORDER - The Crochet Project's summer mystery crochet - a - long yarn.

Joanne Scrace has designed a shawl for this years The Crochet Project, summer, mystery crochet - a - long and I have dyed up some exclusive colourways for the pattern.

The MCAL begins July 8th with a clue being released each Wednesday over the following 5 weeks, so you'll have a beautiful shawl all made up by the end of August.

Included in this kit are 2 skeins of Kid Silk Fluff (69% Silk 22% Kid Mohair. 9% polyamide 100g/350m) a gorgeous silk and mohair yarn that has a glorious fuzz.

Each of the three colour options include a semi solid, and a subtle speckly.

Colour options are as follows

VERDANT & INFLORESCENCE - a semi solid green and a pale pink with green and pink speckles (this is the yarn Joanne has used for her sample)

BARBERRY & ASTILBE - a semi solid purple and a pale coral with purple and coral speckles

CEANOTHUS & MOONFLOWER - a semi solid blue and a very pale blue with blue, pink and green speckles

If you want to work from stash you can find the pattern alone as part of the membership in Joanne's new Crochet Hub -  https://learn.thecrochetproject.com/courses/aestival?ref=1ffa6d

Some notes on the pattern from Joanne

"A shawl that is inspired by the abundance of hedgerows on my nature walks in my local area. Aestival means belonging to, or appearing in, summer.
The shawl pattern includes solid and lace sections that echo the abundance of frothy blossoms in the inspiration photos using delicate lace sections to create a light and very wearable shawl.."

Kits will ship by June 13th so should arrive in plenty of time for mid July when the MCAL begins, however, if you're outside the UK please note that we cannot guarantee that the yarn will arrive before July 8th.
