...herbs in pots...
I painted these pots at my mums shop on my last trip home and she kindly brought them up with her for my surprise birthday visit. The herbs I planted at the beginning of the year were transferred outside and have either been eaten by giant slugs or just not made it!...my little green monster...

...whilst shopping at the weekend I came across a lovely looking dragon fruit. I am ashamed to say I have never tried one before! It was so beautiful I couldn't resist it!
We ate it last night and whilst looking at all those little black seeds I wondered to myself 'can you grow a dragon fruit?'. Johnny had already googled said fruit and informed me it was a cactus, so this morning I googled it...

Despite being complete novices, not actually having a garden of our own and it being so late in the year, the weekend 
beforelast, we decided to start growing our own vegetables. To make things even more complicated we decided not to just go out and buy some ready to go plants, but instead to start the whole process from seed!! To any experienced gardeners this no doubt seems utterly ridiculous,...- 2 comments
