:: lots of cornflowers and nasturtiums. I love the nasturtium flowers so much, my favourite salad addition, though they are also one of the few flowers in the garden at the moment, so I'm torn between picking them and leaving them!

finding inspiration :: bokeh ::

I've had this bokeh idea on my pinterest board for a really long time now, last night I decided to give it a go. Turns out I don't have the right kind of lens, I neglected to check this before rushing straight in and was super disappointed when I couldn't get it to work.

Inspired by lovely friend Melody, I set out last weekend to find some elderflowers to make a cordial, I actually failed. I think I must have been looking in the wrong places, however I did notice some down at the allotment. So on Tuesday when Bex and I were done with digging for the day we went to collect some elderflowers.

I used the basic jam recipe that I used last year, however mid way through I took a peek at Pam Corbin's recipe in the River Cottage, Preserving Handbook, to discover her's is quite different.
